Ask: Any tricks, tools, or products that will help your hair grow faster?
Answer: Yes! So – obviously there’s no magic potion that will help Rapunzel your hair, but here’s the rule when it comes to growing your hair: strong hair breaks less, which keeps it looking amazing, and will promote growth. If you have weak, damaged hair, you’re going to need to cut it more often (and likely take more off), so what you really need to do is get your hair super strong and then go from there.
Vitamins – I’ve used two awesome vitamins in the past decade that have done wonders for my hair, skin and nails. One is be-Beautiful and the other is Swisse’s Ultiboost Hair Skin Nails. There are plenty of others on the market, but I really like these two. They contain biotin which strengths your hair, nalls, and makes your skin glow. No downside, so start popping these ASAP.
Kerastase “Green” Line – This line of products helps restore damaged hair by adding protein and vitamins directly on to it. It’s AMAZING. When I used to die my hair from blonde to dark brown, and then back to blonde, my hair got really gross: straw-like, dry, and fuzzy. Using this line for a couple of months really did wonders. It seals split ends, adds moisture to your scalp and reconstructs your hair follicles. Worth every penny.
Pro-tools – I recently posted about the Parlux hair dryer – a ceramic, tourmaline hair dryer that gets super hot, is powerful and dries your hair in half the time. Get this hair dryer, now. The less futzing, maneuvering and manipuling, the better when it comes to keeping your hair strong and good.
Hair Oil – Invest in some great hair oil and use it every time you wet your hair. I really love Davine’s Oi Oil – it smells great, is weightless, and eliminates frizz and fly-aways superbly. Oil also helps your hair dry faster (not sure exactly how!), which is an added benefit.
